What happens when I cancel my subscription?

If you are still within your two week free trial, you're free to enjoy Snip until the trial ends, even if you've cancelled. Should you change your mind, you have the ability to set up a new subscription from the profile page:

https://getsnip.co.uk/profile

You will still be able to spend any eGifts which have already been purchased. They will have been sent to you via email, which you should save for future use. You will be able to spend any eGifts up until their expiry date, even if you're no longer a member of Snip.

When you cancel your subscription you will receive an email from our payment provider, GoCardless, confirming that the Direct Debit has been cancelled. This may take up to a day or so, but is usually much quicker.

In some circumstances we may be unable to stop your next subscription payment from being processed by your bank. This is because Direct Debit payments are submitted to banks in advance of the charge date, which is the day after your free trial ends, or the day your subscription renews.

If this happens to you, please contact us at help@getsnip.co.uk and we will be happy to arrange the refund you are entitled to. You will also be protected by the Direct Debit Guarantee if you would prefer to arrange the refund through your bank.
